Media/Entertainment World

Vision

By December 31, 2025, we will have the world’s most responsible media and entertainment sector, conscious of its influence and role in the mentoring and role modelling of a future generation of global leaders in every field of endeavour. We will have media houses and organisations partnering together to build Nigeria into the world’s most desirable nation to live in, as well as the world’s centre for academic excellence by 2025.

We will saturate the minds of the youth with brilliant renditions and exciting production of songs, poems, music videos, plays and movies that glamourise and promote the values that we as a nation would need to demonstrate to build the world’s most desirable nation. We will have an entertainment and media sector that actively communicates the consequences of acts of injustice, examination malpractices, sugar-daddism, cultism, or pre-marital sex etc. on the lives of those directly involved as well as their families and the society at large and thereby creatively discouraging contrary values to actualising our vision.

Strategy

We will reach out directly to all the media houses, including every television and radio station, every newsprint and internet-based organisation as well as retired journalists, freelance writers of repute in order to secure their partnership and collaboration on the mission.

Also to individuals with a track record of corporate social responsibility in the education sector to share our national vision of building Nigeria into the world’s most desirable nation to live in by Dec 31, 2025, as well as the project RAISE plan to build our nation into world’s centre for academic excellence. Also, we will facilitate an annual conference titled MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE where all stakeholders (journalists, actors, producers, screenwriters, songwriters, copywriters, musicians etc..) would be made to appreciate the significance of the their impact and rolein influencing this generation positively.

We would work with associations like the Outdoor Advertising Agency of Nigeria (OAAN), Performing Music Artists of Nigeria (PMAN), National Association of Nigerian Theatre ArtsPractitioners (NANTAP) and Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to secure the commitment of their members to glamorising the values that naturally result in academic excellence.

We will secure complementary airtime, billboards and newsprint pages for these messages and would engage our nation’s stars (particularly the musicians and actors) to endorse our various messages e.g. ‘go to school’, ‘stay in school’, ‘excel in school’ messages. We will facilitate the competitions for the best songs, movies, adverts which promote and glamourise our values. We will give awards to outstanding media partners at our partners’ conferences. Furthermore, we will get notable and respected citizens (and international counterparts) to present these awards at our award nights
