Private Sector

Vision

By December 31, 2025,we will have an educational system that is literally financed byour nation’s private sector. We will have a private sector that is highly involved in sponsorship, mentoring, product development and role modelling.Nigeria will have the largest number of private organisations directly involved with the adoption of schools, the financing of educational projects, the endowment of faculties and the greatest investment in research & development of teaching & learning techniques.

Within a few years, the private sector and the ALUMNI ECONOMY will be sufficiently stimulated and engaged to create adequate funding to excite:
1. the pursuit of learning
2. the pursuit of teaching
3. the pursuit of authoring
4. the development of world class educational centres and
5. the development of research & development centres (including public libraries).

We will have a private sector that is genuinely and passionately committed to actively building the nation into the world’s centre for academic excellence. We will have a private sector that accepts responsibility to nurture the “grounds”(schools) that produce our future leaders of enterprise and the most outstanding workforce required to build Nigeria into the world’s most desirable nation to live in by Dec 31, 2025.

Strategy

We will reach out directly to all the private-sector organisations and individuals with a track record of corporate social responsibility in the education sector to share our national vision of building Nigeria into the world’s most desirable nation to live in by Dec 31, 2025 as well as the project RAISE plan to build our nation into the world’s centre for academic excellence. Also, working through our Mass media campaign on TV, Radio, Newsprints and the internet, we will send a clarion call to small, medium and large enterprises as well as individuals in (and even pending) employment for participation and involvement in every facet of our educational sector (first at the secondary level, then the tertiary level and finally at the primary level.

We will inspire the development of products tailor-made for the vibrant ‘student market’. Furthermore, we will stir up businesses to sponsor and send out positive messages supporting academic excellence, as well as special messages on cultism, HIV AIDS, reading culture, back to school programs, adult education, etc. in their advertisements and on their billboards. We will recognise and publish the CSR impact of our sponsors and partners (on the project RAISE) on our world wide website and through the platforms offered to us by our media partners. We would also give special recognition to outstanding sponsors at our partners’ conferences. Furthermore, we will get notable and respected citizens to present awards to our sponsors and partners at our award nights.
