Vision

By December 31, 2025,we will have the world’s best equipped publishers driven by an obsession for the students to succeed exceptionally in academics and life as a whole. We will have students excited to read books written and published in Nigeria that exceed world class standards and redefine new levels in quality publishing. We will have publishers who are passionate about raising global players (students) with the requisite information to thrive and succeed socially, academically and professionallyand not just concerned about the students as merely a “market”for “product”sales.

We will have a piracy-free publishing industry where every student holds and reads theoriginal print copies upon which appropriate royalty is paid to the authors.We will have the best bookshops adequately stocked even in the most rural areas of our nation.We will have great publishers who regard the academic excellence of our students as their personal success.Publishers who are committed to building Nigeria into the world’s centre for academic excellence by December 31, 2025.

Strategy

We will facilitate a NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EDUCATION inviting every stakeholder particularly publishers, NGOs, security agencies, Police Force and Armed Forces, Volunteer inspectors.

We would share our national vision of building Nigeria into the world’s most desirable nation to live in and the world’s centre for academic excellence by Dec 31, 2025.We will restore the lost hope in the future of our great nation in the mind of every official of the regulatory bodies and share the 10 VALUES that must be imbibed and demonstrated as a way of life in order to re-build a great nation.We would deliberate on a national plan against piracy and would articulate the key elements for implementation of the plan.We will embark upon a private-public sector collaborated program called the WAR ON PIRACY, wherein we would galvanise public support nationwide (through the classrooms and the mass media) against pirates and pirated books.

We would highlight the destructive capability and the social and economic consequences of piracy and infringement on intellectual property on every individual and organisation in Nigeria.We will mobilise a strong and brave volunteer force (team of inspectors), full of highly motivated men and women of integrity who are incredibly passionate about the disastrous consequences of piracy.We will mobilise a vast number of passionate and skilled lawyers who would volunteer to take up cases FREE OF CHARGE against the major printers and perpetrators of intellectual infringement and the bookshops that carry such books.These LAWYERS FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE would be committed to prosecute cases to an effective conclusion.We will publish the bio data of every convicted pirate on the HALL OF SHAME section of our world wide website.

Furthermore, we will produce documentaries and confessions of repentant pirates into newspaper columns as well as television and radio programs so as to dissuade those contemplating such acts in the future.We will utilise the vastness of our influence and network to reach out directly to all the key decision-makers (including the President, the Honourable Minister for Education and all Special Advisers on education matters, every Executive Governor and Commissioners for Education as well as Youth and Sports, the Senate and Houses of Assembly at the federal and state levels) and every relevant and active pressure group to secure their support to establish and legally empower SPECIAL COURTS DEDICATED TO CASES ON EDUCATION AND RELATED MATTERS ONLY. This will expedite the hearing of cases and the prosecution of perpetuators of injustice. Furthermore, we will push for a SPECIAL TASK FORCE. This will constitute the officers of the Nigerian Police Force, the Armed Forces, Boys and Girls Brigade, Man O’War, and any other volunteer group or individuals including parents and other passionate well wishers of academic excellence.

They will administer co-ordinated raids on every printing press and bookshop involved with this destructive and illegal acts of piracy throughout our nation.We will recognise the achievements of every volunteer (lawyer, inspector, officer etc.) involved in the War Against Piracy. We will also publish the bio data of every volunteer that has demonstrated tangible support for the project RAISE on our world wide website and through the platforms offered to us by our media partners. We would give special recognition to these outstanding people at our partners’ conferences. Furthermore, we will get notable and respected citizens to present awards to these outstanding individuals at our award nights.
