Book Drive Strategy

What is a book drive?
A book drive is a collection of many books usually donated by volunteers (Individuals and organisations) to assist the less priviledge most book drives are carried out without a profit making intention.
Aim

The Aim of the Project Raise One Million Book Drive is to provide students with financial challenges an equal chance of passing the WAEC and UTME exam as well as to gain easy access to reading centres and books for free.

Stages

Alpha Phase
•    Plan the book drive structure
•    Identify types of books to be collected
•    Identify and Locate book drive centres


Beta Phase
•    Media and Advertisement
•    Collection of books
•    Sorting of the books
•    Packaging of books so they arrive in great shape
•    Involve groups to handle the management   

Sigma Phase
•    Distribution of books
•    Distribute the books to their final destination

 On February 28, 2010, we  partnered with the Ofunneka Youth Empowerment Trust Fund to host a Book Donation Drive for the Surulere Girls Senior Secondary School. We raised 400+ Books to be used to stock the schools library.
