Vision
By December 31, 2025,we will have the world’s most competent, most accountable & excellently managed examination bodies in Nigeria. We will have the examination bodies that effectively and efficiently manage the process of registration, administration and publication of national examinations. We will have hitch-free, malpractice-free, delay-free examinations with examiners-of-integrity arriving on time with adequate examination sheets to the right examination centres.
We will have every student seated on time, confident of scoring distinctions because of adequate preparation, with no temptation to cheat, bribe or secure a proxy (i.e. get someone else to take his/her exams). We will have every student receiving accurate results at the accurate designated address (probably e-mails) on the exact day results are scheduled to be published. We will have our regulatory bodies staffed with great professionals who see education regulation as a calling and a privilege and not just as a means of livelihood. We will have men and women of honour and integrity working with all our regulatory bodies; experts with a commitment to play their role in building Nigeria into the world’s most desirable nation and the world’s centre for academic excellence by December 31, 2025.
Strategy
At NO CHARGE to the regulatory bodies, we will send motivational speakers to the head office and state liaison offices of every regulatory authority (e.g. Joint Admissions Matriculation Board, West African Examination Council, National Board for Educational Measurement) to share our national vision of building Nigeria into the world’s most desirable nation to live in and the world’s centre for academic excellence by Dec 31, 2025.We will restore the lost hope in the future of our great nation in the mind of every official of the regulatory bodies and share the 10 VALUES that must be imbibed and demonstrated as a way of life in order to re-build a great nation.
We will facilitate a NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EDUCATION where every stakeholder (particularly those from the regulatory authorities, NGOs, security agencies, Police Force and Armed Forces, Volunteer Examiners and inspectors) would deliberate on a national plan against examination malpractices and would articulate the key elements for implementation of the plan.We will embark upon a private-public sector collaborated program called the WAR ON EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE, wherein we would galvanise public support nationwide (through the classrooms and the mass media) against the culture and culprits of examination malpractice.
We would highlight the destructive capability and the social and economic consequences of examination malpractice on every individual and organisation in Nigeria. We will mobilise a strong and brave volunteer force (team of inspectors), full of highly motivated men and women of integrity who are incredibly passionate about the disastrous consequences of examination malpractices. We will mobilise a vast number of passionate and skilled lawyers who would volunteer to take up cases FREE OF CHARGE against perpetrators of injustice (e.g. harassments by lecturers, teachers or cultists, withholding of results without due explanation etc.) and other malpractices committed by lecturers, teachers, students, individuals administrative officials or even the regulatory bodies etc.)
These LAWYERS FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE would be committed to prosecute cases to an effective conclusion. We will publish the bio data of every convicted perpetrator of injustice and malpractice on our HALL OF SHAME section of our world wide website. Furthermore, we will produce documentaries and confessions of repentant perpetrators into newspaper columns as well as television and radio programs so asto dissuade those contemplating such acts in the future.
We will utilise the vastness of our influence and network to reach out directly to all the key decision-makers (including the President and all Special Advisers on education matters, the Honourable Minister for Education and all Special Advisers, every Executive Governor and Commissioners for Education as well as Youth and Sports, the Senate and Houses of Assembly at the federal and state levels) and every relevant and active pressure group to secure their support to establish and legally empower SPECIAL COURTS DEDICATED TO CASES ON EDUCATION AND RELATED MATTERS ONLY.
This will expedite the hearing of cases and the prosecution of perpetuators of injustice and malpractice in our schools and educational institution. Furthermore, we will push for a SPECIAL TASK FORCE of (constituting the officers of the Nigerian Police Force, the Armed Forces, Boys and Girls Brigade, Man O’War, and any other volunteer group or individuals including parents and other passionate well wishers of academic excellence) who will administer external-invigilation and security at every examination centre throughout our nation. We will recognise the achievements of every volunteer (lawyer, inspector, officer etc.) involved in the War Against Examination Malpractice.
We will also publish their bio data of every volunteer that has demonstrated tangible support for the project RAISE on our world wide website and through the platforms offered to us by our media partners. We would also give special recognition to these outstanding people at our partners’ conferences. Furthermore, we will get notable and respected citizens to present awards to these outstanding government officials at our award nights.
